Extracurriculars

Art

Students explore line drawing, portrait drawing, watercolors, through multiple artists such as Picasso and Kandinsky. They also explore Iconography and learn more about our Orthodox Christian faith through this art form.

Music

Music at PCA is taught through a variety of mediums, techniques, and topics. These include singing, exploration in percussion, strings, dancing, and choreography.

Choir

PCA students learn the hymns of the church in both Greek and English. Children learn to participate in the Orthodox Christian liturgy and the life of the Church.

After School Clubs

After school clubs can boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for the children of working parents (youth.gov).

PCA offers after school clubs to students in grades pre-k through 3rd grades on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Did you know?

Children develop patience, listening, and leadership skills when they participate in a group activity, such as a sports club or when learning a new dance routine. By joining an after school club at PCA, students will learn the importance of teamwork and how to successfully engage in a group.

After school clubs give them the chance to help each other learn a new step or score a goal. Students will grow more comfortable with vulnerability by experiencing that it’s okay not to do everything right the first time and build the confidence to ask for help from a teacher or a fellow peer.

OUR MISSION

To provide students with the highest quality elementary education with strong academic, spiritual, and cultural foundations rooted in Orthodoxy and Hellenism.
