Welcome to Pythagoras Children’s Academy website! I am confident that you will find the information on this site useful and that you will learn more about what makes Pythagoras Children’s Academy such a special place.

PCA is an Orthodox Day School under the umbrella of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Demetrios. For over 20 years, we have educated hundreds of children in the Greek-American community in a loving and safe environment.

We are a fully recognized school by the Illinois State Board of Education and offer classes from preschool through second grade.  We take pride in providing our students with Academic Excellence, Hellenic Heritage, and Orthodox Christian values. PCA is on par with state standards as our curriculum is aligned with Common Core in order to prepare our students for college and career readiness.  We are proud to provide our students with dedicated teachers who are state certified, 1:1 computers for our Kindergarten through 3rd grade students, computer based learning enhancements, standardized testing to aid with differentiating instruction, Greek language and traditions, and Orthodox instruction from our beloved priests.

We are confident that your children will thrive at PCA through hands-on learning, a dedicated staff, parental involvement, and a loving environment with a strong home to school connection. Look for opportunities to attend parent-child activities, volunteer in the classrooms, support school fundraisers, and be an active member of our wonderful PPO.
